Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the rules that apply to every person or entity ("you") who accesses or uses the Diez dating service, including our website (diezapp.com), web application, and mobile apps (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to follow this policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, permanent termination, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
1. Age Requirement
The Service is intended exclusively for users who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). You may not:
- Create an account if you are under 18.
- Use the Service on behalf of someone who is under 18.
- Upload content that depicts, involves, or was created by anyone under the age of 18.
We use reasonable measures to enforce this requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will terminate the account immediately and delete associated data to the extent practicable.
2. Illegal Activity
You may not use the Service to conduct, promote, or facilitate any activity that violates applicable law or regulation. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Violating any federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
- Engaging in fraud, identity theft, or impersonation of another person.
- Stalking, harassing, threatening, or intimidating another user.
- Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Service or other users' devices.
- Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security features of the Service, including rate limits, account protections, or access controls.
- Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access or interact with the Service, except as expressly permitted by us.
- Engaging in money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes through the Service.
3. Sexually Explicit and Harmful Content
Diez is a dating platform, not an adult-content service. You may not upload, send, or display content that:
- Contains nudity, pornography, or graphic sexual acts.
- Depicts or describes sexual violence, non-consensual sexual activity, or coercion.
- Is intended to arouse or gratify sexual interest outside the context of consensual dating (for example, soliciting sexual services, distributing explicit material, or advertising adult content).
- Contains graphic, gratuitous, or fetishized depictions of violence, self-harm, or dismemberment.
We reserve the right to remove any content we determine, in our sole discretion, violates this section and to suspend or terminate the account that posted it.
4. Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE)
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any content or conduct that involves, promotes, or facilitates child sexual exploitation or abuse. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Any sexual content, imagery, or conversations involving anyone under the age of 18.
- Profiles, photos, or messages that depict, describe, solicit, or romanticize sexual activity with minors.
- Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to recruit, coerce, or solicit a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
- Attempting to move a minor to another platform or off-platform communication channel for sexual purposes.
- Creating or using an account on behalf of a minor for any purpose.
Suspected CSAE is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, where appropriate, to law enforcement. Accounts associated with CSAE are permanently terminated and IP- and device-banned. For more information, see our Child Safety Standards.
5. Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation
You may not use the Service to facilitate, promote, or recruit for human trafficking, sex trafficking, forced labor, or any form of exploitation of another person. This includes:
- Recruiting, soliciting, or transporting a person for the purpose of sexual exploitation, forced labor, or any other form of trafficking.
- Advertising, offering, or providing sexual services for compensation.
- Using the Service to control, exploit, or coerce another person, whether through debt, threats, manipulation, or force.
- Any conduct that exploits a power imbalance to compel another person into sexual or labor activity.
We cooperate with law enforcement and anti-trafficking organizations. We will report suspected trafficking activity to the National Human Trafficking Hotline and relevant authorities.
6. Scam and Fraud Activity
Protecting our users from fraud is fundamental to the Service. You may not:
- Create fake profiles, use stolen photos, or misrepresent your identity, age, gender, or intentions.
- Engage in romance scams, phishing, or catfishing designed to defraud other users of money, personal information, or anything of value.
- Request or solicit money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial information from other users.
- Promote investment schemes, pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or any get-rich-quick opportunity.
- Use the Service to collect login credentials, personal data, or financial information from other users through deception.
- Run unauthorized commercial activities, including selling products, services, or directing users to external payment platforms.
7. Non-Consensual Content
You may not upload, share, or distribute intimate or sexual content of another person without that person's explicit consent. This includes:
- Sharing intimate photos or videos of someone taken without their knowledge or consent ("revenge porn" or "non-consensual intimate images").
- Distributing intimate content after a relationship has ended or after consent has been withdrawn.
- Uploading images or videos that were obtained from third-party sources without the subject's consent.
- Using deepfakes, AI-generated images, or other synthetic media to depict a real person in a sexual or intimate context without their consent.
8. Impersonation and Account Integrity
Every account must belong to a real person who uses their own photos and truthful information. You may not:
- Impersonate another person, celebrity, or entity, whether real or fictional.
- Use photos of someone who is not you, including photos of other users, celebrities, or stock images presented as your own.
- Create multiple accounts for the same person.
- Allow another person to use your account or access the Service through your credentials.
- Use the Service under a false or misleading name, age, gender, or location.
9. Harmful Conduct Toward Other Users
The Service is built on mutual respect. You may not:
- Harass, bully, intimidate, threaten, or stalk any user.
- Send unsolicited sexually explicit messages, images, or propositions.
- Discriminate against, demean, or promote hatred toward any person based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Encourage or incite self-harm, violence, or suicide.
- Doxx another user by sharing their personal information (real name, address, workplace, phone number) without their consent.
10. Platform Integrity
You may not take actions that undermine the integrity or security of the Service:
- Use the Service for commercial advertising, recruitment, or political campaigning without our written consent.
- Manipulate ratings, matches, or any other feature of the Service through automated means or coordinated accounts.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts, private data, or internal systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any part of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
11. Enforcement
We investigate reports of violations and take action based on the severity and context of the conduct. Possible actions include:
- Removing offending content without prior notice.
- Issuing a warning.
- Temporarily suspending an account.
- Permanently terminating an account and banning the user from the Service.
- Preserving evidence and referring the matter to law enforcement or child safety organizations where required by law or where we have a good-faith belief that serious harm has occurred or is being planned.
We may also proactively detect violations using automated tools and manual review. You may appeal an enforcement action by contacting support@diezapp.com with relevant context.
12. Reporting Violations
If you see content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it:
- In the app: use the Report function on any profile or conversation.
- By email: contact us at safety@diezapp.com for urgent safety concerns, or support@diezapp.com for general policy violations.
For child safety concerns, you may also report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline or to your local law enforcement.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where required, notify you through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
